
The Puerto Rico Water and Sewer Authority (PRASA) was established by Act No. 40 of May 1, 1945, as amended, and has the power to dispose of its surplus immovable property. Surplus real estate property of PRASA is considered to be property that has fulfilled its purpose and has been authorized for disposal or sale.
PRASA Procedure 570 on Disposal of Surplus Property establishes the process for identifying a property as a surplus and the steps for its disposal, with the Infrastructure Directorate being responsible for its implementation, in accordance with the relevant legal provisions.
