Mi Turnos PR Information(Mayagüez, P.R.)- Brigadas de la Región Oeste llevarán a cabo mañana sábado, 4 de marzo, lostrabajos de reparación de una línea averiada de 20 pulgadas de diámetro, de la distribución de la planta de filtros Ponce de León en Mayagüez, informó Israel Vega Vargas, gerente de Redes del área de Mayagüez de la Autoridad de Acueductos y Alcantarillados (AAA). “Los trabajos comenzarán a las 8:00 de la mañana, por un tiempo aproximado de seis a ocho horas, de no ocurrir contratiempos que atrasen las labores”, explicó Vega Vargas. “Para efectuar la reparación, la planta de filtros Ponce de León estará detenida. Como resultado, los abonados en el casco urbano, Limón, Cerro Las Mesas, Belmonte y El Liceo en Mayagüez tendrán interrupción del servicio de agua. La recuperación del servicio de agua será a partir de horas de la tarde”, agregó. Una vez restablecido el servicio, y ante la posibilidad de turbidez, se recomienda hervir por tres minutos el agua destinada para consumo humano.
